PCE broadens its presence on the largest South American market
With immediate effect the company MCPACK Equipamentos will also offer the PCE control and inspection system. MCPACK Equipamentos aims at distributing PCE products both to its more than 200 present customers and via existing marketing channels. This partnership provides PCE major advantages regarding development of new target groups. Products ‚Made in Germany’ are referred to as a special quality feature also on this market.
The company MCPACK Equipamentos, based in São Paulo – Brazil, was established in 2002 and represents companies of the United States and Germany. MCPACK Equipamentos distributes operational facilities and services for the pharmaceutical, beverage, food and chemical industry within the South American market. Leading technology companies such as Cryotech, Taptone, Stratec and Loell and – from now on - also PCE are amongst the partners of MCPACK Equipamentos. Over the past years MCPACK Equipamentos distributed more than 250 different operational facilities exceeding 200 satisfied customers. The company is run by German management with eight employees focussing on sales and technique.
Within the context of Track & Trace the Datamatrix Code is advancing in Brazil as well: Anvisa, the Brazilian Ministry of Health, will most likely follow the present Turkish directives regarding Track & Trace with 2D Datamatrix incl. GTIN, batch, date of manufacture and serial number. At present pharmaceutical packaging in Brazil must contain the following printed information:

- GTIN number – NEW (PRINTED)
- Serial number (unique identification number) – NEW (PRINTED)
